Master Grant

When Was the Assembly of God Established

 

I met a lady on the day of 5-2-2025. We talked about the Assembly of God in Dunsmuir, CA. The Assembly of God was established in April 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This was a Pentecostal movement in the history of the Pentecostal establishment.

Dunsmuir California was a railroad town that my family and I lived in with many friends there also. God was very important to my family and our friends.  On May 4, 2025 I ran into my cousin Christopher. I asked how my cousin Esther and Pearl were doing. Their brother Charles was an active member of the Assembly of God in Dunsmuir, California. He always had his bible with him at the Church, the Holy Bible. The congregation is 150 to 200 people. In 1950, the King James version was the one being used.

The name Esther goes all the way back to the biblical days. 

My cousin David was a very good friend of mine in the 50s and 60s. God is still very important to me. My cousin John Junior was also a believer in Christ Jesus in those days.

When I think of my cousin James, I think of his beautiful dark brown eyes with a shining light in them. He was a beautiful man in his 20's who had 11 siblings. I also always think of the King James Holy Bible when I think of him, as well as the beauty of King Saul in the Bible at 1 Samuel 9:2. "God's Word will always be very important to me."
